Hey, Lover of Crypto & Coffee,
Introduction
This week I face some challenges that generate a lot of stress from a personal event that I need to face. It is something I need to do that grabs an enormous amount of time and energy where I could spend elsewhere to generate more income.
The point I want you to bring is no matter the choices you made in your life, you will face people who envy you. Don’t let people dictate what you can or can’t do because you will be on the agenda of someone else.
Two important decisions I made for improving my learning path are:
Take care of my crypto kid full-time until he starts school.
Build an online business and eventually reach the goal to live full time from it.
It is not a straightforward journey, but I am getting there!
My biggest failure in the crypto sphere
Three years ago I stopped posting in my crypto blog because of the enormous crash the crypto sphere experienced back then. I wasn’t prepared mentally to face the adversity for an expected drop in the traffic toward my blog.
Especially the crypto market is a new industry with is up and down.
I focused all my energy on the Steem blockchain where I accumulated some crypto posting daily there.
Then I discovered and build an unexpected new skill that I discovered by pure chance with DTube. I started posting daily vlogs on the platform and enjoyed the process to receive rewards and build my confidence in front of the camera.
Then I realized I was not getting the traction I deserved, and I wanted a new direction for my online crypto business.
The wake-up call for a big change
I posted again to my crypto blog and use it to market myself and keep going with it until now.
What I did is to start a new YouTube crypto channel where I will reach 200 videos this week. My goal this year is to reach the monetization level and be able to generate a business income in fiat money with this channel.
It is not a peaceful journey, but I have decided 3 weeks ago to post 7 videos a week now.
For getting more visibility, I even started this newsletter and a weekly podcast to reach a new audience.
The lesson learned
You never know what a failure can teach you or help you see from a fresh angle. It is not guaranteed when you start something, it will be successful, you need to prepare yourself for the unexpected.
Now I know where I go and work daily in that direction, no matter the distractions I face.
The most important is to never give up.
Conclusion
Live is too short of living the agenda of others. When I was fired in 2016 where I spent so much energy on my job that I hated, to be honest with toxic colleagues.
I tell myself I will never live an event like that again, never.
The best option you have in life is to define your own agenda, to have control of your destiny.
